Welcome to the 7th Annual Helmuth Builders New Years Day Shed Auction. Name your price on a Helmuth Builders shed, lawn furniture, and more! Plus give-aways and fun for the whole family. We are giving away an 8x10x7 Windsor building and other great prizes. you must be present in person to win.
We will have over 30 buildings for sale plus lawn furniture. Some of these are used units, some are display models, and some are brand new! Helmuth Builders is offering free delivery for up to 50 miles from Harrisonburg. They are also offering 120 days same as cash or rent to own for payment with a $500 deposit the day of the auction. (Rent To Own and Free Delivery Does Not Apply To Furniture)
Online bidding will be available beginning on December 1, 2025. The online bidding will transition to live and online bidding at 11:00 on Thursday January 1st 2026 and the bidding for each lot will close when the auctioneer says sold. If you are registered to bid online there will be live video and audio in the app or on our website so you can follow along in real time.
You may preview any of these items during normal business hours from December 29-31 at the Helmuth Builders sales lot located at 4309 South Valley Pike, Harrisonburg VA 22801 in front of the Shenandoah Heritage Farmers Market.

Payment: Cash, Check, or Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, or Discover), are approved methods of payment. There will be a 3% surcharge added to any amount charged on Credit or Debit Card for purchases made at the auction. A $500 non-refundable down payment is due on the day of sale with the balance due upon delivery or within 60 days. Helmuth Builders Rent-To-Own/120 days Same as Cash available for payment but the $500 down payment is still due day of sale and RTO agreement must be signed within 14 days of purchase. (Financing Not Available For Furniture).
Sales Tax: Virginia State sales tax of 5.3% applies to all purchases unless buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form prior to order being finalized.
Delivery/Shipping: Free delivery within 50 miles of Harrisonburg VA; $5/mile after the first 50 miles. All deliveries must be scheduled within 14 days of sale and delivery made within 60 days of sale. If your purchase is still located at Helmuth Builders after March 2nd, you will be assessed a $20.00/day storage fee for all structures or a $5.00 per day storage fee for any furniture.
The Customer/Buyer is responsible for all permits, local codes, zoning, etc. Customer will be charged additional fees for out-of-state permits if delivery is to a state other than VA or WV. Cancelled Orders: Helmuth Builders will keep the down payment in full upon cancellation, no matter the cause. Delivery of building must be scheduled within 14 days and delivery taken within 60 days or down payment may be forfeited. If you are the winning bidder of a structure, you must pay the $500 deposit, at a minimum, even if you decide to cancel the order, NO EXCEPTIONS!
Delivery/Shipping: Free delivery within 50 miles of Harrisonburg VA; $5/mile after the first 50 miles. Site must be accessible for delivery truck and the building. $100/hour setup charge applies after the first 30 minutes of arriving on site if the site is not ready or accessible. Any blocks required for placement of your structure will be billed at $5.00 per block. If your purchase is still located at Helmuth Builders after March 2nd, you will be assessed a $20.00/day storage fee for all structures or a $5.00 per day storage fee for any furniture.

Helmuth Builders is not responsible for any damage that occurs during deliveries. If we get stuck on the property, the Customer is responsible for getting all equipment unstuck. If you don't think your property can handle our equipment play it safe and postpone delivery.
Additional Delivery Fees:
$200 Escort Fee Required: 12’ wide Windsors, Lakesides, Studios, Pavilions and Horse Run-Ins
$400 Escort Fee Required: 14’ Wide Windsors, Studios and Pavilions
$500 Install Fee Required: Floorless Pavilions

The auction record kept by Auctioneer and Clerk is final. Bidders must show bidder numbers when bidding on any item. If bidder number is not displayed, then your bid may not be recognized.
