Edgemont Farm is a historic farm designed by Thomas Jefferson and has a great legacy as a productive horse and cattle farm for many years. Having sold the real estate, Edgemont Farm is now dispersing all their equipment in this online auction. You will find very well cared for shed kept farm machinery including four John Deere tractors, hay equipment, Kubota RTV's, lawn mowers, cattle handling equipment, Dodge Ram 2500 diesel pickup, 24 ft aluminum livestock trailer, 24 ft flat bed gooseneck trailer, two Nissan Xterra's, and forestry equipment including a Timber King portable saw mill, Bandit wood chipper, Farmi logging winch, Miller welder, English saddles and tack, chainsaws, trimmers, and other misc. tools and equipment. All of these items are being sold to the highest bidder regardless of price.
Preview and Pickup Information:
This is an online only auction which will begin to close on June 4 at 7:00 PM at the rate of 2 lots per minute with a 1 minute auto extend. That means if a bid is placed within the last minute for any lot the time for that lot will be extended for one more minute.
Preview for this auction will be Saturday May 30 from 3 to 5 PM and Thursday June 4 from 3 to 5 PM. Address is 3295 Edgemont Farm, North Garden VA 22959
Pickup will be on Friday June 5 from 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday June 6 from 9 AM to Noon. All items must be paid for by Noon Saturday June 6. Pickup for large items can be arranged by appointment the following week but loading assistance will not be available after noon on June 6. Shipping is not available for this auction. All items must be removed by June 13. We will have a loader onsite to assist with loading.

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items except titled vehicles unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made.
Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.
Payment: Cash, Credit or Debit Card (3% Fee Applies), Wire Transfer, and Good Check are approved methods of payment. This online only auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, wire transfer, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property.

Shipping: We are not offering shipping on items in this auction, but contact us if you would like contact information for local transportation and towing companies.
Preview And Pickup: All of the items will be available to preview on Saturday May 30 and Thursday June 4 from 3 to 5 PM each day. Please satisfy yourself as to the condition of each item before placing your bids. Pickup time is June 5 from 9 AM to 6 PM and June 6 from 9 AM to Noon. All items must be paid for before they leave the property and no later than noon Saturday June 6. Equipment will be available to assist with loading on pickup days only and by appointment. Large items requiring more time may be picked up after regular scheduled pick up times but must be removed from the property no later than June 13. No loading assistance will be available after June 6.
