Online only auction for heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, tractor, and more from the Byrum Estate and Byrum Excavating near Petersburg VA. This includes a Caterpillar 315LC excavator, John Deere 50G excavator, Caterpillar D5LGP dozer, Caterpillar 955L track loader, Caterpillar 920 wheel loader, 2007 Kenworth W900, Eager Beaver drop deck and tilt trailers, dump trailers, pickup trucks, air compressors, and more. All of these items are being sold to the highest bidder regardless of price.

Preview and Pickup Information:

Preview for this auction will be Wednesday August 19 from 3 to 6 PM. Address is 5305 Courtland Rd Disputanta VA 23842.

Pickup with loader assistance will be scheduled with the winning bidders on Saturday August 22 from 9 AM to 2 PM. All items must be paid for no later than noon on August 24 and all items must be removed from the property by September 21. Pickup for large items can be arranged can be arranged in the weeks following the auction but loading assistance will not be available after 2 PM on August 22. Shipping is not available for this auction.

This is an online only auction which will begin to close on August 21 at 7:00 PM at the rate of 1 lot per minute with a 1 minute auto extend. That means if a bid is placed within the last minute for any lot the time for that lot will be extended for one more minute.

Terms of the Sale:

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items except titled vehicles and trailers unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made.

Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.

Payment: Cash, Credit or Debit Card (3% Fee Applies), Wire Transfer, and Good Check are approved methods of payment. This online only auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email and payment can be made online. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, wire transfer, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property.

The online only bidding will close at the rate of 1 lot per minute starting at 7 PM on August 21, 2026

Shipping: We are not offering shipping on items in this auction, but contact us if you would like contact information for local transportation and towing companies.

Preview And Pickup: All of the items will be available to preview on Wednesday August 19 from 3 to 6 PM. Please satisfy yourself as to the condition of each item before placing your bids. Pickup time with loading assistance is by appointment with winning bidders on Saturday August 22 from 9 AM to 6 PM.  All items must be paid for before they leave the property and no later than noon August 24. Equipment will be available to assist with loading on pickup days only and by appointment. Large items requiring more time may be picked up after regular scheduled pick up times but must be removed from the property no later than September 21.  No loading assistance will be available after August 22.
