Extensive Vintage & Novelty Salt and Pepper Shaker Collection – 400+ Sets!

Mountain Valley Auction Group is pleased to present an outstanding single-owner collection of over 400 vintage and novelty salt and pepper shaker sets. This unique auction features a wide variety of ceramic and porcelain shakers dating primarily from the mid-20th century, including many marked Enesco, Napco, Shawnee Pottery, Artmark, Relco, Norcrest and other collectible makers.

Preview, Shipping, and Pickup Information:

This is an online only auction which will begin to close on July 2 at 7:00 PM and will close at the rate of 3 lots per minute with a 1 minute auto extend. That means if a bid is placed within the last minute for any lot the time for that lot will be extended for one more minute.

Preview for this auction: All of the items will be available to preview on Wednesday July 2 from 3-6 PM at the auction location 350 Bowman Road, Dayton VA 22821. Pickup is at the same location on Thursday July 3 from 9 AM to 6 PM.

Shipping is available for all items in this auction. We use shippingsaint.com to handle our shipping. You will receive a separate invoice for shipping from Shipping Saint. Packaging and handling charges will be $1 per lot and shipping will be billed at actual shipping rates from UPS or USPS.  All items will be shipped within 7 business days of the close of the auction.

Terms of the Sale:

Buyers Premium and Sales Tax: The Buyer's Premium of 10% will be added to each successful bid. Virginia Sales Tax of 5.3% will be charged on all items unless the buyer provides a valid sales tax exemption form. Sales tax exemption must be claimed and form presented before payment is made.
 

Merchandise: All Items Are Sold AS IS, WHERE IS, WITHOUT GUARANTEE. We urge you to examine all items carefully and satisfy yourself as to the condition and bid accordingly. We will not be accepting returns or providing refunds.

Payment: Cash, Wire Transfer, Credit Card (3% Fee Applies), or Good Check are approved methods of payment. This online only auction will require bidders to enter a valid credit card in order to register to bid. When registering to bid, the credit card will be checked for available credit of $100 but the card will not be charged. At the end of the auction all successful bidders will receive an invoice via email. You can pay directly from the invoice or bring payment with you to pick up. If payment arrangements are not made by the end of the pickup period then the credit card used for authorization purposes at the time of registration will be charged. All payments whether cash, check, or card must be made before any items are removed from the property or shipped.

We cannot retract or remove a bid. We respect your privacy and that of the other bidders. We will not release your information to anyone without your permission. This is an online only auction. The bidding will begin to close on July 2 at 7:00 PM and close at the rate of 3 lots per minute with a one minute auto extend. This means that if a bid is placed within one minute of the end of the auction for any item the auction for that item will auto extend for an additional minute until no more bids are placed within the last minute.

Shipping: Shipping Will Be Available At Buyers Expense For All Items In This Auction. We process all our shipping through Shipping Saint. You will receive a separate invoice from them for the shipping. Packaging and handling charges will be $1 per lot and shipping will be billed at actual shipping rates from your preferred provider. If you purchase multiple lots, they will be combined for lowest cost shipping.  All items will be shipped within 7 business days of the close of the auction.
