Helmuth Builders is holding a New Years Day Shed Auction and Give-Away. Name your price on a Helmuth Builders shed, play set, dog kennel, greenhouse, gazebo, lawn furniture and much more! Plus give aways and fun for the whole family.
We will have approximately 30 units for sale. Some of these are used units, some are display models and some are brand new! Helmuth Builders is offering free delivery for up to 50 miles from Harrisonburg along with their full warranty on new and display models. They are also offering 60 days same as cash or rent to own for payment with a $500 deposit the day of the auction. (Rent To Own and Free Delivery Does Not Apply To Furniture, Play Set, or Metal Buildings)
There will be door prizes and give-aways for everyone who registers to bid on site. Helmuth builders is even giving away one free 8x10 Classic Barn to a lucky auction participant. You must be present to win!
Online bidding will be available beginning at 8:00 AM on December 1, 2018. The online bidding will transition to live and online bidding at 11:00 on Tuesday January 1st 2019 and the bidding for each lot will close when the auctioneer says sold. If you are registered to bid online there will be live video and audio in the app or on our website so you can follow along in real time.
You may preview any of these items at the Helmuth Builders sales lot located at 121 Carpenter Lane, Harrisonburg VA 22801 in front of the Shenandoah Heritage Farmers Market.
Payment: Cash, Credit Card, or Good Check are approved methods of payment. If payment cannot be made in full the day of the sale, then at least a $500 non-refundable down payment is due day of sale with the balance due upon delivery and within 60 days. Helmuth Builders Rent To Own or 60 days Same as Cash available for payment but the $500 down payment is still due day of sale.
Sales Tax: Virginia State sales tax of 5.3% applies to all purchases unless tax exemption is claimed before order is signed.
Cancelled orders: Helmuth Builders reserves the right to keep the down payment in full upon cancellation, no matter the cause. Delivery of building must be scheduled within 14 days and delivery taken within 60 days or down payment may be forfeited.
Delivery/Shipping: Free delivery within 50 miles of Harrisonburg; $3/mile after the first 50 miles. Site must be accessible for delivery truck and the unit. $90/hour setup charge applies after the first 30 minutes of arriving on site if the site is not ready or accessible. all 14' wide buildings will require a $150 Escort Fee for delivery. Blocking and leveling and pad construction quotes are available upon request.
The Customer is also responsible for all permits, local codes, zoning, etc. Customer will be charged additional fees for out of state permits if delivery is to a different state. Helmuth Builders is not responsible for damages that occur during deliveries. If we get stuck on the property, the Customer is responsible for getting all equipment unstuck. If you don't think your property can handle our equipment play it safe and postpone delivery.
Merchandise Warranty - Five Year Warranty: **Warranty applies to new buildings only**. Helmuth Builders, Inc. guarantees each structure to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of five years. Helmuth Builders will repair or replace, at our discretion, any defect five years from completion of the structure. Helmuth Builders cannot be held responsible for damage to articles and equipment stored within the unit. This warranty does not cover any damage done by fire, storm, or any other act of God. Helmuth Builders is not responsible for any settling that may occur after building is set on blocks or pad; misaligning of doors, etc. **Warranty applies to new buildings only**.
Bidding: The highest bidder for each item shall be the buyer, and if any dispute arises as to any bidding, or between two or more bidders, the auctioneer will have sole discretion to determine the successful bidder, or the disputed lot shall be offered again at the last undisputed bid and resold. The auction record kept by Auctioneer and Clerk is final.

By placing a bid, you agree to hold Mountain Valley Auction Group LLC, Helmuth Builders INC, and their agents harmless regardless of opinion.
Auctioneers Announcement: The auctioneer reserves the right to accept bids on behalf of an absentee bidder, the seller, or himself. The auctioneer reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and in all cases of dispute the auctioneer’s decision shall be final. All announcements made by the auctioneer on sale day take precedent over any printed material or previous advertising.
